重さ：約2kg

全体的に非常に良好な保存状態にあるようです。黒漆塗りの兜鉢には大きな剥がれやサビなどが見られず、光沢も残っており、当時の仕上がりをしっかりと維持しています。前立の金色の円形装飾も色褪せが少なく、輪郭も明瞭です。
左右の吹返しにはわずかな擦れや小傷が見られますが、使用感を示す程度であり、保存上の重大な損傷とは言えません。顎紐もきちんと残されており、後補であったとしても丁寧に取り付けられている印象です。
全体として、この兜は実物の時代的価値を損なうことなく、しっかりと保存・管理されていると評価できます。展示や研究資料としても非常に優れた状態にあると言えるでしょう。
